One month!

Georgia at one month.
Eats every 3 hours. Will stretch it to 4 or 5 hours once after 10pm. Still sleeping in the pack n play. Just made it to 8 lbs. Still having reflux and on Zantac. Loves the swing and being held. Has to be put back to sleep. Loves her hands!!

In the mornings she will take a cat nap without her swaddle and lay like her mommy.

Tatum wanted Georgia to lay on her chest and for me to take a picture of her

Some morning smiles

Some morning frowns

Hands up and the LSU

We got together to watch the bowl game and our family had all of our LSU attire on. Hudson is quite obsessed with baby Georgia which is good because April and I have already arranged their marriage.
Philip and Georgia along with Philip and Tatum
April snapped this pic of T with her legs crossed watching the fireworks. Hayden was wearing protective ear phones while Tatum was just watching away
Family pic in LSU gear
Georgia loves to sleep with her hands up above her head
Or by her face
Here she is at the pediatrician for a quick weight check. After 3 weeks she finally gained back up to 7lbs
I guess Georgia gets it honest.
Lola has been great so far with Georgia. She has been quite protective of her too.

Christmas preparation

Here is the first matching outfit picture of the girls. One of my sweet patients got them as a gift and they are so cute in them. The hat was from Pam at the office.
And the second matching outfit picture. Juju made matching reindeer shirts for them.
G with her hat that looks like it could be an Annie wig
Philip and I went to Tatum's school party. They as a class sang several Christmas carols and recited John 3:16. Too bad Tatum didn't sing or say a thing. She only put her fingers in her mouth.
While on maternity leave, I snapped pics of G and sent to Philip
Notice the hands in the face
Philip loves watching football with his girls all cuddled

Tatum has been quite the attentive sister.
Tatum is also quite obsessed with pumping. She says she has to go pump sometimes.

Georgia is very embarrassed by Tatum's actions!!

12-10-2013

Well we got to the hospital about 10 that morning. Philip thought he missed his calling as a doctor since he looked so good in his scrub cap
We went to the OR just a little after 12. I quickly got my spinal block. The first stab missed and he said "oops."  At 12:28 Georgia made it. At about 12:25 Philip's phone died and we thought we would miss all of the pictures but Dr. Waterfallen and Dr. Robinson said not to worry that he could run and get my phone so we could have pictures of it all.
As soon as she went to be checked out, Philip followed and snapped some great shots. Here she is holding his finger tightly. As soon as they started to deliver her, her eyes were wide open and she was wanting to check everything out. Similar to Tatum!  I guess I have some nosy girls. Also everyone was quick to say she has red hair!
The anesthesiologist snapped this pic and a few others. They were all chatting about LSU football and such. He was also about to meet someone about getting his son's new car for his birthday.

Tatum is checking out Georgia's hands here.
All of our bands
Notice she has only been out in the world a matter of minutes and she is already trying to put her hands in her mouth!

Tatum was very interested in sister. Philip went and got her after her nap. Juju and Tuffy took her to gymnastics that night with a new leotard and leg warmers. Pink of course
Me and my girls

This is one of my favorite pictures from the day. Candid shot from anesthesia.

Sweet little G in her paty hat

We are so thankful for Dr. Waterfallen. He's such a caring doctor who truly loves delivering babies. Notice he's very proud to show a mom her baby. He doesn't care about the picture :)

Pre Georgia and Santa

Tatum loves talking to her sister and talking about her sister. We got a sweet picture after seeing Santa of the girls
I thought Santa might go better this year since she understands the concept a bit better. Tatum told him she wanted frozen and that's about it. She made sure he heard her and wouldn't get close otherwise!
The night before Georgia was born we went to eat at superior as a family of 3. Tatum loved it and so did we

Right before we left for the hospital, I snuck a picture. The only selfie of the pregnancy just about 3 hours before Georgia was born

Thanksgiving

Tatum's class had a thanksgiving feast where they dressed up and ate. All of the moms brought goodies.

T loved her headband and vest
Princess Tatum. Very appropriate!
Matt, Jes, Reed, and Grant came in for thanksgiving. Mom made them all turkey shirts and here they are rocking them!
We finally got T some new glasses. She was not a happy camper about it. She wanted to go to gymnastics instead but we got new ones and they look great on her
We did some early holiday decorating!  Anticipating Georgia
Grant was baptized along with Layton. Uncle Jack and dad performed the baptism. It was a special Sunday for the O'Dell family
