School

T loves her school. She loves to paint as well. The other morning she noticed the paint was already out and preferred painting with her teacher over eating her breakfast.....HUGE!!

Nola, food, and a party

This weekend we headed down to New Orleans. Philip went to the LSU game with Chris while T and I played in Nola.

We enjoyed lots of food. T had her first Pinkberry and her first beignets. She enjoyed them both. She kept sticking her finger in the powdered sugar and licking it again and again.

We shopped down Magazine and hit up the mall.

We roamed around Whole Foods where Tatum pointed out every pumpkin in the place.

Sunday we headed home for Ava's first birthday party. It was themed pumpkins and pearls. April did a great job and T had a blast.

Big girl bed

Well T got a promotion this week. She is officially out of the crib and into the big girl bed.

The first night started rough. She looked terrified when we put her down. Philip ended up staying with her for a few minutes which calmed her. Then when he tried to leave....screaming ensued. She then figured out how to get out of the bed and screamed in the living room. Then after a scolding for getting out of bed, two minutes later she was down for the count.

I honestly figured she would end up finding us thorough the night at least once but two nights have gone by and she has stayed put.....so far.

Her headboard was purchased from a couple in our Sunday school class who is raising money to be missionaries in Guatamala. It turned out precious!!

Mom is going to sew some ruffles on the bed skirt and Phyllis got T some precious sheets and a neck pillow.

Philip made me document her morning after the first night in bed with a pic and video :)

Johanna is one of Tatum's friends from school. Actually, their grandmothers are best friends too.

Lauren was showing JoJo and Molly a picture that I had posted on instagram and the girls then decided to "play Tatum.". This consisted of finding their pink sun glasses and walking around. Priceless!!

So Philip always wants me to send him a picture of T so I usually take one when I drop her off. Yesterday I said, "Daddy wants a picture of you."

Her response was....opening up her jacket. Turning to me and saying, "cheese!"

New clothes and accessory love

Mom and Dad came over Friday night and took us all out to dinner. Anthony's is always a special treat for us.

Mom has been working hard on some fall clothes and treats for us. She made Tatum this precious jumper and several other outfits that I'll have to definitely document.

She also made Lizzie and Tatum matching pumpkin outfits which are PRESH!

I'm so thankful to have a crafty mom. Definitely need to learn how to see so T will be thankful of me :)

T also can't get enough headbands on her head recently. She just piles and piles them on.....

Huge change

Philip and I are no longer "mama" and "dada."

We are now "mommy" and "daddy."

After School Snack

Tatum and I enjoyed an afternoon snack at the golden arches.

I wasn't quite sure what she would want so I ordered a small fry and a cookie. Well T loved the fries but more so the hot mustard sauce. Then she got a little creative and dipped her cookie in the hot mustard. She loves a dip....just like her mother ;)

Fun night with Abram

So Abram loves spending the night with us. Always has. Always wants to come over and we definitely enjoy having him.

Tonight we ate with mom and dad. Then came home. Had a dance party and threw the football around. Tatum would run back and forth to wherever the ball was going. Priceless!!

Daddy is home!!

Philip finally got home from his golf getaway. He offered to pick up T and he brought her a treat

Weekend Without Dad

This weekend Philip went to Hot Springs for a ton of golf playing. He and Charlie played 36 holes a day. This left Tatum, Lola, and I at home holding down the fort.

We didn't get a chance to do much outside since it rained and rained and rained. We did however play pretty hard indoors.

Tatum loves when I fix her hair crazy ways.....



She also was getting into the rocks which is a "no no."  This was the innocent pic that I sent to Philip.


I also got a little crafting and decorating done while she napped.


Of course we had a fashion show with numerous costume changes....
