Tatum loves to copy me and wear my clothes/accessories. Here are some of my favorite copy catting

Tatum's first painting

Last week at day care the kids got to paint! Mrs. Sandra and Bridgette had each child sit in their laps and paint grapes. They definitely enjoyed it! Here's a pic of her creation.

Tatum-isms ect

So here are some cute things that Tatum does/says....

She always says "bless you" after a sneeze or cough. Although its sounds more like "shlush you"

Yesterday I asked Tatum "where does Jesus live?" and her response was " I don't want to do that."

When the door opens by the garage, she automatically says, "Dada!"

When Lola barks at the front door she says "James!"

She calls the remote..."mote"

She loves to push her baby's stroller around with purses on the handles. She will even take her glasses off and place them around the handles.

She does not like to get out of bed in the mornings. She would love to lay in bed longer.

Her latest trick for staying up late is whispering, "rock dada."

The child loves to dance. Loves Elmo. Abby Cadabby. Despicable Me. The Lorax.

She eats pretty much everything. Especially mandarin oranges, raisins, steak, and cookies. This month Papa introduced her to chocolate milk. It's one of her new favs.

When I go to get her from daycare she tells me to "Sit mama." This is a good thing because it reinforces that she loves her school.

Leopard, chickens, and cookies

We love taking pics of our sweet girl. She loves accessories as you can tell. She loves to wear my glasses over her glasses!

Philip took T to his parents the other night and she to cluck at the neighbor's chickens.

T loves cooking in her kitchen. Benet got her some play cookies to cook which are too cute!!

While Philip and I were away in Dallas, we bought T some new clothes including her styling leopard leggings!!!

Circus Circus

We loaded up T on Sunday to take her to her first circus. She LOVED it.

We met her bff's Lizzie and Ava. Mee-Mee & Papa also met us there. We started off trying to get a picture with the clowns but a blood hurtling scream later....ended without a picture. Lizzie was great and sat with the clown :)

Tatum loved the tigers and especially loved the poodles that performed tricks. They had elephants that she was pretty interested in too.

Papa bought Tatum a wand with Tons of lights and she loved it!

Two year shots

Well we finally took T for her shots last week. She was definitely not thrilled to be there. The whole time we were in the waiting room, she was fussy and wanted to eat 1038473939 suckers.

The entire time Dr.Cockrell was in the room ......Tatum cried. In fact I snapped a picture of her overall demeanor.

All in all her percentages are pretty funny
25 lbs. 25%
Height 10%
Head circumference 75%

She definitely got the O'Dell head!

Tatum Turns 2

We started Tatum's celebration early by going to Mama Nell's for a special birthday dinner.  Growing up all of the grandchildren got a special meal of their choice from Mama Nell on their birthday and so Tatum got the same treatment.  She made and decorated this cake for T

T had a balloon and special plate..

Since Tatum is sooooo obsessed with Elmo, I caved and threw her an Elmo birthday party.  We went all out.  Here are the cupcakes with Elmo's face.  Completely edible.

The table with some of the food.

We had banana strawberry skewers

popcorn...chocolate covered pretzels....trix crispie treats

Marshmellow chocolates with Dorothy

The mantle

Goody bags with treats for our guests.

T looooooved the bounce house.  One of my friends at work lent it to us and it was a hit!

The day after her party she did not take off her high heel play shoes or let go of her elmo back pack.

Silly Girl!

Tatum likes to put on as many of my clothes as possible!
There are about 3 pairs of panties and 3 sports bras.

This is one of my tank tops that she likes to wear.

Mocking how I stand like a flamingo...

Once again....accessories!!!

Strike a pose!!!

2 Year Old Preschool!

Tatum got promoted at Daycare to the young 2 year old class.  She has a desk with an assigned seat and everything.  They have to wear pull ups and drink out of cups!!

Here she is coloring.

This is her name on her desk! Too cute!!

Here she is sitting with her friends...Mena, Johanna, and Tanner.

Her teachers are Ms. Bridgett and Ms. Sandra.  She loves it so far.

The Beach!!

We started our trip early and staying with Uncle Jack on the way.  Tatum did a lot of this and watched Elmo the whole time.  Notice the pacifier.  She got to keep it until the trip was done.

Tatum met Mike the Tiger for the first time.  This was a special time for Philip and her!

Finally the white sand and clear water!!

Philip got in the water.  T loved the water but HATED the sand.  I repeat HATED.

Sunset photo op!

Our first family beach pic!

kiss kiss

We stayed with Mom and Dad.  Mom unfortunately broke her leg and couldn't do much more than prop her leg up, read, and watch the Olympics.  Which the USA swept!  Michael Phelps made history. The USA women's gymnastics won gold.  We loved watching Gabby!

Mom and Dad celebrated their wedding anniversary and went to a Brazilian steakhouse for dinner.

Philip and I at the Oyster House

Tatum entertained us.  This is her thug pose....

Posing with Mom!

T with some Sweet T!

Goofing around in the condo

She put on my sunglasses and said CHEESE!

The Zoo and Silly Faces

I took Tatum to the zoo while we were in Monroe a while back.  Thankfully it wasn't too hot and she enjoyed getting to see the animals.  The zoo was not exactly as I had remembered it as a child but some parts were familiar.

T and I had fun making funny faces....

Then she got sad...

Then she was happy again....

She's already figured out what to do with a megaphone!
