Sunday Afternoon

 This Sunday after church the family had a great time!  We ate at Superior which is one of our favs!  Then headed to Target for a little shopping.

Papa Dig's 85th Birthday

Papa Dig's 85th birthday party was last week and Mama Nell held a fish fry at their church to celebrate.  Lots of family from out of town came in for the festivities.

Tatum was a hit as usual.  Mama Jo got in some lovin'.

Papa Dig's sister, Aunt Mateal came in with her husband, Uncle Millard.  They literally look exactly the same as they looked 20 years ago.  

Papa Dig had a king cake for his birthday cake.  Audrey Grace was helping him out here.

It was great seeing everyone and hearing everyone's stories of Papa Dig growing up.  Hope that when I'm 85 people will speak of me the way they spoke of him. 

7 months

We had our six month check up actually at seven months.  Dr. Cush-John said at the end of the visit that if Tatum wasn't sitting up by 7 months to call her.....so I told her I would call her the next day which happened to be April Fool's Day.  Tatum's now been sitting up unassisted a bit which is great!  A few highlights of the month have been....

--weight 14lbs 4oz (20%)....25 inches long (20%)....17 inches head circumference (25%)
--loving vegetables...pretty much she hates fruit

--sleeping well.  a nap 8-10 then a bottle with rice cereal for the night.  Usually sleeping until 7-8

--she reallllly loves Lola

--bath time is fun for her and she kicks and kicks.  I can't wait for her to get in the pool because I thinks 

  she'll love it

--some nights she gets so mad when she rolls over

--you are drooling like crazy!!

Trip to Nashville

So for Spring Break Tatum, Mama Jo, and I packed our bags and flew to Nashville.  This was Tatum's first time on a plane.  She did soooo well!  The first few minutes she would entertain everyone and then doze off to sleep.  This is a pic of her on the plane.

 While we were there Tatum really enjoyed playing in the high chair.  Since then we have used the high chair in many different ways ;)

Reed wasn't really quite sure what to think about Tatum.  We tried and TRIED to get him to get close to her but he really wasn't into it.  At first this is all we got...

Then we tried while he was watching TV but he was preoccupied with Mickey Mouse Club

By the last night he was okay with getting close to her thankfully.

Happy Girl

Somehow Tatum is a morning person.....not sure where this came from since Philip and I both are NOT morning people.  She just giggles and coos all morning long.  This is her one day this week while we were all getting ready for work.  Tooo cute!!!

Everyone always comments on how much Philip and Tatum look alike.  Philip loves when people say "oh she's just beautiful!!"  "She looks just like her daddy."  He thinks that they are telling him that he's beautiful.  Here are the twins together.....

BR and NOLA

This past weekend we loaded up and went to Baton Rouge for the weekend for Rachel and Chris' wedding in New Orleans.  Tatum stayed with mom and dad while we went to Nola for wedding.  She was a hit at church that night.  They had a fundraiser/dinner and everyone wanted to love on her.  Aunt Mandy and Uncle Jack came in as well and got to get in a little Tatum Time.  Here we are just before I left for the wedding.

Daycare Pics

I love that Mrs. Liz will text me pictures occasionally of Tatum.  Here the latest.  Tatum loves getting in the exersaucer and eating the toys around her.  Apparently this day she played sooooo hard and had a rough time....
